Day 01 Arrive Medan + Parapat (L, D)
Arrive Medan airport, welcome to Medan, meet and greet by our representative. Lunch at local restaurant. Travel to Parapat, about 5 hours drive. En-route visit Kwan Inn Temple at Siantar and Patent Shop to buy local food products such as Teng Teng or Ting Ting. Ariive Parapat, check in hotel and free at own leisure. Dinner at hotel restaurant.
Day 02 Parapat Lake Toba Tour + Berastagi (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. We will take a ferry trip across the crystal clear waters of Lake Toba to Samosir Island. It is a large volcanic island that is located in the middle of Lake Toba and the fifth largest lake island in the world. The island is the center of the batak toba culture and many of this people’s artifacts remain on the island. Lunch at local restaurant. Travel to Berastagi, about 4 hours drive. Enroute stop at Simarjarunjung where you can try the ginger tea and fried banana here (own expenses). Stop at SipisoPiso waterfall to see this magnificent 110m tall waterfall and an extraordinary view of Lake Toba from the north side. Arrive Berastagi, visit the Central Fruit Market then check in hotel.
Day 03 Berastagi + Medan City Tour (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Visit Shwedagon Pagoda Replica at Taman Lumbini. After that, travel to Medan, about 2.5 hours drive. Arrive Medan, proceed for city tour. Visit Graha Annai Velangkany Church, Maimoon Palace, Grand Mosque, Visit Pasar Ikan (traditional market) and Medan Mall. Enjoy the warm atmosphere of Merdeka Walk, City Hall and Post Office.
Day 04 Medan Shopping Tour (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Proceed for Medan shopping tour, visit and shop at Pasar Petisah (traditional market), Sun Plaza (branded shop), Rumah Markisa Noerlen and famous local cake shop such as “Bika Ambon & Bolu Merantie”.
Day 05 Depart for home (B)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Free at own leisure until time for transfer to airport for flight check in. See you again.
