Day 01 Arrive Saigon + City Tour (D)
Arrive Saigon airport, welcome to Saigon, meet and greet by our representative. Proceed for city tour. Visit Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, Central Post Office, Chinatown and Jade Emperor Temple. Check in hotel.
Day 02 Cu Chi Tunnels Tour + Saigon Tour (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Proceed for Cu Chi Tunnels Tour. Cu Chi Tunnels, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and the Americans. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Reunification Palace and shopping at Ben Thanh market.
Day 03 Saigon + Cai Be Boat Tour + Vinh Long Homestay Experience (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Travel to Cai Be. Visit Cai Be floating market. Take a boat ride to Tân Phong island, walking on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and where we can also see how they make rice-net for spring-rolls, sew coconut-leaves for cottage roof and specially see how they wave the dried water-hyacynth to make many products. Lunch at local garden. After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. You can see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves as well as see how the local farmers to catch fish.
Day 04 Vinh Long Boat Tour + Saigon (B, L, D)
Breakfast at homestay restaurant. Visit local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice. Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea. Boat ride at My An canal and Hòa Tịnh canal, we will walk in the peaceful village to see how they make bricks, wave bamboo trays & baskets. Then our boat continue to Long Hồ to see how they make conical hats by hand, a process to make rice noodles. Lastly visit Vinh Long Market. After lunch, travel back to Saigon and free at own leisure.
Day 05 Depart for home (B)
Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Free at own leisure until time for transfer to airport for flight check in. See you again.
